2007 TEAM:
james russell
driver
       this year james is our lead driver. although only nineteen years old, he has a full season (2005) under his belt, and has scored several podium place finishes, both in malaysia and thailand.

he is driving one of our group a imprezas in the five-round malaysian rally championship. More info: james-russell.com

 
douglas pickering
co-driver
       doug is accompaning james russell this year, having previously rallied with us in 2003. he is a mature and experienced co-driver, who will help james master the tricky and demanding malaysian plantation special stages.
 
thomas duroyon
driver
       french driver thomas duroyon is no stranger to fast road driving, but is making 2007 his rookie year in off-road events.

thomas is driving a group n impreza, with a view to scoring good points for the team in its quest to win the mrc team championship.

 
gulvinder singh gill
co-driver
       no stranger to malaysian rallying, gulvinder's role this year is to help thomas acquaint himself with off-road driving, and to learn the intracies of international rallying.
 
FROM PREVIOUS YEARS:
andy pawley
driver
       andy joined us for round 1 of the 2003 perodua aam malaysian rally championship, finishing fifth overall and second in group n. he is a well-known privateer in the uk, and competes in many british and italian events in a variety of cars.
 
tim sturla
co-driver
       rally co-driving is the cornerstone of tim's work, having competed widely for more than 15 years.

tim sits with a number of drivers, but currently, and most notably, welshman leon pesticcio. additionally tim works for teams in a coordination role, both pre-event and on event.

tim is also the uk representative for sr motorsport, and has co-driven for james russell in the malaysian rally championship.

brian green
driver
       brian is an ex-new zealand champion who has rallied with us regularly. in 2003 he was the winner of the "malaysian rally 2003" ... his first major international win, and campaigned the whole of the 2004 malaysian rally championship with srms, ending up as champion.
 
fleur pedersen
co-driver
       fleur co-drives for brian green not only in malaysia, but on asia pacific rally championship events, china championship events, plus selected rallies in new zealand.
 
malcolm stewart
driver
       like brain green, malcolm is an ex-new zealand rally champion. he joined srms for round 6 of the 2003 championship, taking second overall in one leg.
 
mike fletcher
co-driver
       mike's experience is extensive, stretching back over more than thirty years, and including something like 23 outings on rally new zealand. mike co-drove for malcolm stewart on round 6 of the 2003 mrc.
 
gunaseelan rajoo
driver
       guna, who is the 2003 malaysian rally champion, joined sr motorsport for the 2004 mrc season. his experience, over the past eight or so years, during part of which he drove for team proton malaysia, has included forays into the asia pacific and asia zone championships, plus a win in the 2001 silverstone national tarmac championship.
 
jayaseelan rajoo
co-driver
       'jay' who currently co-drives for his brother guna, has sat alongside most of malaysia's best drivers during his eight years of rally experience. he has also competed overseas, notably in china and thailand.
simon eastlake
driver
       simon returned to the wheel after a couple of years of absence from malaysian rallying. as a partner in sr motorsport he played a supporting role on selected events, helping the team gain championship points in the 2004 malaysian rally championship.

during 2004 he was partnered by james russell, who began his rally career as a co-driver, at the age of 16.
